 Job Summary: 
 Responsible for sandblasting surfaces to remove old paint, rust, and other debris. Assists in shop activities by performing the following duties.
 Essential Functions: 
 - Preparing parts for paint, masking, cleaning, and hanging on rack.
 - Finishing operations and packaging, paint touch up, part marking, etc.
 - Must have some experience with Sandblasting outside.
 - Removes burrs or excess metal from machined parts.
 - Support manual assembly operations.
 - Assigned to various 5S activities as required.
 - Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
 - Maintain high level of housekeeping in the work area, including 5S.
 - Adherence to all company policies, procedures, external regulations and legal requirements.
 - Other duties as directed by management.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 - Strong understanding of job-related techniques, tools, and materials.
 - Ability to apply sound judgment to perform duties safely and effectively.
 - Dependable attendance and punctuality.
 - Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude; ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
 - Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with supervisors.
 - Knowledge of and adherence to company quality and environmental policies, including AS9100 and ISO 14001 standards.
 - Commitment to following safety procedures, security protocols, and use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
 
Education & Experience 
 - High school diploma or equivalent required.
 - Previous relevant experience in a manufacturing, technical, or production environment preferred.
 
Background Prerequisites:
 Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
 Preferred Qualifications:
 - Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 14001 certified environment.
 - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
 - Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard documentation or reporting tools.
 - Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and process efficiency.
 
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

 - Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to handle or feel materials or equipment.
 - Occasional lifting or movement of up to 25 pounds.
 - Work may be performed in a production or industrial setting with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and other environmental factors.
 - Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company and OSHA standards.
 - Repetitive or continuous motions may be required depending on assigned duties.
