Tool and Die Maker - MBS Fabrication, Inc.

MBS Fabrication, Inc. is a family-owned and operated aerospace parts manufacturer focused on precision sheet metal forming, welding and machining. We are actively recruiting an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team. In this role you will fabricate precision components, assemble and rework tools and dies, and manufacture replacement parts. Tasks include sharpening and polishing tooling surfaces, building assemblies, and performing bench work necessary to maintain and restore production tooling to specification.

As a Tool Maker you will be responsible for testing tools and fixtures to confirm proper function and tolerances. You will collaborate with production and engineering personnel to assist in the development and ramp-up of new customer products, offering practical feedback to improve manufacturability and tool life. A safety-first mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of manual and CNC machining processes and must be able to read and interpret industrial blueprints and drawings. Competent math skills, including measurement interpretation and basic geometry, are preferred. We value candidates who demonstrate willingness to cross-train across departments, a desire for continuous improvement, and a positive, accountable attitude. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment will help you succeed.
