Your Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer for John Deere Des Moines Workslocated in Ankeny Iowa, you willprovidetactical line supportfor production in fabrication/weld areas. In addition, you will...
- Investigate part and process defects for root cause and corrective action recommendation.
- Supportintroduction of new products and current product change control.
- Develop quality processes and projects tosupportfabrication.

What Skills You Need
- Effective communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment
- Experience in the use of and applying quality tools such as Failure Modes Effect Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Non-ConformanceCorrective Action system
- Experience supporting fast paced shop floor fabrication environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives
- Experience with formal NCCA (Non-Conformance Corrective Action) processes
- Support regulatory audit process (external and internal)
What Makes You Stand Out
- Controlled manufacturing process experience in manufacturing engineering, supply management, quality engineering, or operations
- Experience with welding and fabrication processes
- Experience with print reading and Creo
- Experience with Data Analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Ignition, etc.)
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor'sdegree in an Engineering/Technology
