Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer for John Deere Des Moines Workslocated in Ankeny Iowa, you willprovidetactical line supportfor production in fabrication/weld areas. In addition, you will...

• Investigate part and process defects for root cause and corrective action recommendation.
• Supportintroduction of new products and current product change control.
• Develop quality processes and projects tosupportfabrication.

What Skills You Need

• Effective communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment
• Experience in the use of and applying quality tools such as Failure Modes Effect Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Non-ConformanceCorrective Action system
• Experience supporting fast paced shop floor fabrication environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives
• Experience with formal NCCA (Non-Conformance Corrective Action) processes
• Support regulatory audit process (external and internal)

What Makes You Stand Out

• Controlled manufacturing process experience in manufacturing engineering, supply management, quality engineering, or operations
• Experience with welding and fabrication processes
• Experience with print reading and Creo
• Experience with Data Analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Ignition, etc.)

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor'sdegree in an Engineering/Technology
