Jenkins Slate Masters is seeking a Sheet Metal Specialist at its Grove City, PA location. Min of 15 yrs of experience, Bachelors, own vehicle and DL are required. Must be able to fabricate, shape, and install copper sheet metal components using traditional and modern techniques. Execute double lock standing seam, sweep seam, and solder-free pocket fold techniques with precision. Perform interlocking 3D diamond fabrication, ensuring high-quality aesthetic and functional results. Work with domes and other curved surfaces, demonstrating expertise in complex architectural applications. Install copper pleated valleys on elliptical surfaces following industry best practices. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for accurate fabrication and installation. Utilize advanced metalworking tools such as Wuko tools, Bushman tools, Stubai tools, shears, brakes, rollers, and soldering equipment for precise forming and joining. Apply patinas, polishes, and other finishes as required for aesthetic and protective purposes. Install, repair, and maintain slate roofing systems, including: cutting, punching, fitting, and installing woven slate valleys. Carpentry and masonry skills, relating to the roof surface, are a must.
