Description
NOVA Engineering & Environmental, is seeking ICC Special Inspectors. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Primary duties performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, post-tensioning, fireproofing, etc.). Some travel may be required. The position will be predominately field located.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
- Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
- Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
- Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
- Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
- Input results and observations into daily reports
Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years construction materials testing and inspection experience required
- ICC Certifications in any of the following:
- Reinforced Concrete
- Structural Steel & Bolting
- Structural Welding
- Structural Masonry
- Soils
- Proof of Clean Driving Record
