We are currently hiring CNC Laser Machine Operators for 2nd or 3rd shift. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality parts, and wants to be part of a team that supports industries such as construction, transportation, energy, and defense.
What You’ll Do
As a CNC Laser Machine Operator, you will set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser equipment used to cut sheet metal parts to customer specifications. You will play an important role in maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to work instructions, drawings, and production schedules.
- Locate, load, and verify the correct laser programs for each job.
- Load and unload sheet metal and finished parts using proper material handling equipment.
- Monitor machine operation, verify settings, and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job documentation.
- Perform secondary operations such as grinding, dressing, or deburring parts as needed.
- Complete routine machine checks and assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
- Identify and report machine, material, safety, or quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and 5S standards.
- Participate in cross-training, continuous improvement, and team-based problem solving.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a precision manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC lasers, CNC equipment, or other manufacturing machinery preferred.
- Experience with sheet metal processing, laser cutting, CNC punching, or fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Basic computer skills for loading programs, entering production or quality information, and working within manufacturing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Ability to become certified to operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and reach trucks.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m.
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.
