Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Fabric Technician assists in the manufacturing of PVC covers for the tents and structures we rent, sell and install. This position is also responsible for the cleaning and repair of the covers returning from the field.

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintenance heat welding equipment
• Operate and maintenance sewing and grommeting equipment
• Review fabric drawings/plans/blueprints and construct from them
• Operate cleaning equipment to maintain and clean fabric.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance on shop equipment and tools
• Perform general housekeeping of warehouse and exterior premises daily
• Attend all required safety meetings and required training
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
• All work is performed in a warehouse environment.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Ability to read and respond to common inquiries from teammates or managers
• Ability to read and understand tape measurements
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• General mechanical aptitude
• Safety oriented

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 24.80
