Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30/4PM or 8:30AM - 5PM (Overtime Eligible)

Compensation: Starting at $25 - $30+ per hour; Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus

Position Details & Requirements

Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

• You should have 3 or more years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment background.
• Extensive experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Good understanding of reading schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
• Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
• Be willing and ready to learn; this position comes with growth opportunities!
