McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.POSITION SUMMARY
McCarthy is looking for a non-CDL driver to handle deliveries for concrete Fabrication using a 3/4-ton flatbed towing a 25 gooseneck trailer. Deliveries will primarily consist of lumber and miscellaneous formwork materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist leadman/foreman in the fabrication shop.
- Drive a 3/4-ton flatbed towing a 25 gooseneck trailer
- Complete/conduct Task Hazard Analysis (THA) that adequately identifies and addresses all safety hazards associated with a task.
- Perform work independently with minimum supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Assist with lay-out of pile driving/welding operations.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain driving equipment.
- Complete pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience with driving forklifts, scissor lifts, and side loader.
- Proven commitment to Safety.
- Work in an organized manner.
- Able to work night shifts when needed.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others.
- Organizing the concrete Fabrication yard
- Assist in managing concrete equipment inventory
- Assist in tracking lumber inventory
- Help with other yard operations
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- Abilityto performheavy lifting/pushing/pulling of materialweighing 50 pounds.
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
- Minimum age 18+
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.
ADDITIONAL
- Proficient delivery driving experience
- Must be comfortable working in outside climate.
- Previous experience with general labor and operating equipment.
- Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, cutting torch, grinders, etc.)
