Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00/HR
Duties:
- Perform welding and fabrication work in a job shop manufacturing environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Measure, cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
- Fabricate parts and assemblies to meet customer and production specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, and high-quality appearance.
- Operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of welding and metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience measuring, laying out, cutting, fitting, and fabricating metal components.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce quality welds that are both structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing.
- Knowledge of fabrication tools, welding equipment, and metalworking processes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Manufacturing, Metal Fabrication, or Welding degree/certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use hands continuously for welding, grinding, fitting, and assembly tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required in a manufacturing environment.
