As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Thanks to globally unique manufacturing technologies, we create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures and fuel as well as pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimum weight. Your Tasks

• Management of institutional projects from order receipt through to delivery
• Primary point of contact for demanding clients in English
• Responsible for leading the interdisciplinary team
• Responsible for risk and claim management
• Supporting document and configuration management
• Representing the project department on the construction deviation committee and in steering committees
• Supporting the purchasing department in managing subcontractors (procurement strategy)
• Preparing internal and external reports and the project dashboard
• Responsible for the project's costs, quality, and achievement of objectives

Your Qualifications

• A successfully completed degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Experience working in large and complex project teams
• Several years of professional experience in project management and in the application of standard project management processes/tools
• Verifiable certification in project management
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
• Language skills in French and/or Italian are desirable
